ITF Tournament and Umpire rules will apply for the competition. They are available for download at the ITF website: www.itftkd.org
The Championships programme includes 9 events:
- Individual Pattern
- Individual Sparring
- Individual Special Technique
- Individual Power Breaking
- Team Pattern
- Team Sparring
- Team Special Technique
- Team Power Breaking
- Self-Defense Routine
There will be only one competitor for each individual category/division per country. Degree of partcipants must correspond to what is written in their certificates.
For sparring all competitors must have Red and Blue protective equipment with them.

Dress Code

Umpires’ Dress code is as follows: a navy blue jacket, a white long sleeved shirt, navy blue trousers, a navy blue tie, white socks, white sports shoes as laid down in the Umpire rules.
All the competitors must wear official ITF doboks made by the SASUNG company only. Name of the country may be printed under the emblem, the competitor’s number must be below the belt on the back of the dobok jacket. Sponsorship logos may be on the right side of the chest at a recommended size of 10 cm x 5 cm. A National Flag may be stitched to the right sleeve on the side approximately 2 cm below the shoulder seam.
Coaches’ Dress code is as follows: a tracksuit and sports shoes only.
Officials’ Dress code is as follows: a suit, a shirt and a tie.

Ceremonial Protocol

Opening and Closing Ceremonies

All the competitors should wear ITF doboks or their team tracksuits for the Opening and Closing Ceremonies. Every country must be represented by all the competitors and officials at the parade. Both ceremonies will take place in the “Yubileyny” Sports Complex according to the schedule of events.

Award Ceremony

All the competitors should wear ITF doboks or their team tracksuits for the Award Ceremony. No other clothes will be allowed.

National Antheme and National Flag

Every country should bring to the Meeting point its National Flag and its National Antheme on a CD.
The size of the Flag should be approximately 100 cm x 150 cm.
Timing of the Antheme will be up to 45 sec.
