Self-defense routine, men:

Medalists in the Individual sparring competitions of the XVI World Taekwon-do (ITF) championships are:

Up 50 kg
Gold – Kim Un Hyok (DPR Korea), silver – Alexander Skripnik (Russia-2), bronze – Timur Ismakov (Russia-1), Vitaliy Samoshkin (Kazakhstan).

Up 64 kg
Gold – Alexey Evdokimov (Russia-2), silver – Makhmud Akramov (Uzbekistan), bronze – Alexey Mineev (Russia-1), Ganbat Oyunbold (Mongolia).

Up 78 kg
Gold – Daler Sayfiddinov (Tajikistan), silver – Jan Mrachek (Czech Republic), bronze – Alexander Verner (Russia-1), Diego Popa (Moldova).

Over 85 kg
Gold – Nikolay Kehayov (Bulgaria), silver – Maxim Bolotov (Moldova), bronze – Simon Roukema (Netherlands), Chae Tok Song (DPR Korea).

Competitions in two first categories of the second day of the World Championships finished today at Yubileyny Sports Complex. Two gold medals were taken by the representatives of the Russian female team Anna Savinskaya (self-defense routine) and Elena Ovchinnikova (special technique).
Self-defense routine, female:
1. Anna Savinskaya (Russia-1).
2. Jegal Un (PRK).
3. Sarah Fitzgerald-Holmes (Australia).
Special technique, female:
1. Elena Ovchinnikova (Russia-1).
2. Ilona Tsvetkova (Estonia).
3. Ilona Hambergerova (Czech Republic).
