An International Press Centre will be in operation during the World Championships at the “Yubileyny” Sports Complex. The latest competition news will be accumulated there. We are going to hold press conferences with coaches, winners and officials in the Press Centre.
Members of the Mass Media wishing to cover the World Championships will need to be accredited. To get your accreditation you have to send a completed Accreditation Form to the Organising Committee.

The Mass Media representatives coming to the World Championships can get hotel accommodation at special rates provided that their entries are received by the Organising Committee by July 10, 2009.
Press Accreditation will take place on October 11-12, 2009 at Moscow Hotel. Please check the schedule.
The Media representatives who have mailed their Media Application Forms in advance will have to collect their accreditation passes from the Accreditation Centre at Moscow Hotel by showing their Media cards.
The Media representatives who have not mailed their Media Application Forms will have to prove their affiliation with some Media Agency by showing corresponding document, complete the Media Application Form and wait until the Accreditation Pass is ready.

On October 14-17, 2009 the Press Centre wil start operating one hour before the competition start and finish two hours after the competition end.

Media Accredition Passes will provide access to the Press Centre and the Press Lounge. Tel/fax and photocopying facilities as well as high-speed Internet will be available for use in the Press Centre.
Press releases will be published on a regular basis.
Photographers and cameramen will have special areas in the arena.

The Opening Ceremony of the XVI World Taekwon-do ITF Championships will take place on October 14, 2009.
